Contract extension with Birmingham Metropolitan College

Capita Managed IT Solutions has been successful in its rebid for the Break-Fix, IT Reactive Maintenance contract with Birmingham Metropolitan College.  Our two-year contract commenced on 1st January 2018. 

Birmingham Metropolitan College is a leading provider of further and higher education courses in the Midlands, offering a range of almost 300 courses including A Levels and vocational qualifications, Higher Education courses, professional development, recreational courses and part time degree level study.

Capita Managed IT Solutions has been working with Birmingham Metropolitan College since 2009, supporting its teaching and learning environment previously with an ICT managed service and project based solutions.

The current break-fix service will include hardware, desktop server and network break-fix support as well as service desk support and access to on-site engineers.

Capita Managed IT Solutions will continue to support Birmingham Metropolitan College with access to enhanced IT infrastructure and support, which will enable a consistent user experience across each of the College's campuses through the delivery of Capita's IT support services.

This win further demonstrates our strength in building upon established relationships with existing customers and is a certain indication of our continued growth and success in an extremely competitive market.
