15 schools across the UK renew Custom Fit contracts with Capita
Capita Managed IT Solutions announced that 15 schools across the UK have renewed their Custom Fit contracts with the IT service provider to deliver a range of IT strategic support services.
The Custom Fit service is designed to fit the needs and resources of each individual school, with each school only paying for the level of service they need. The contracts provide a custom mix of services ranging from on-site support from an engineer, remote management and monitoring of our key systems, access to technical specialists via the Capita help desk through to strategic guidance on their overall IT strategy and the innovative use of emerging learning technologies. The 15 schools that have extended their Custom Fit contracts are based across the UK, in the East Midlands, London, Kent, the North West and Yorkshire. The schools range from a 180 pupil referral unit in East London to a 1,400 pupil Roman Catholic college in North West of England.
Janet Eppleston, assistant director of business, North Chadderton College, said: "The Custom Fit IT support service is fantastic, we were able to pick and choose the level of service we needed to meet our IT strategy and budget, with the flexibility to change this as our needs change. Knowing the Capita team is on hand to support the school IT infrastructure and provide advice on projects to meet the needs of emerging technology, delivers peace of mind, and enables the leadership team at North Chadderton to focus on learning and teaching."
James Grant, education sales director for Capita Managed IT Solutions, said: "These contract extensions demonstrate Capita's commitment to delivering fantastic customer service. Each of our Custom Fit contracts is tailored to the specific needs of the school - and so we're able to provide exactly the right services at the right price point." Capita currently supports more than 3,500 schools and 400,000 teachers and learners across the UK with flexible IT support and services.
