Capita Managed IT Solutions support Multi Academy Trusts’ journey to success at Bett 2017
24 Jan 2017
Capita Managed IT Solutions will be exhibiting at this year’s Bett Show from the 25th -28th of January.
Capita will be highlighting to the education industry its expertise and services it can offer to support schools in their strategies to make better use of technology and IT investment. Particular focus will be on helping Multi-Academy Trusts to achieve success as they grow.
The show which will take place at London’s ExCel Centre attracts thousands of educators from around the world each year to source the latest, most innovative technology as well as sharing their experiences and expertise.
James Grant, education sales director from Capita Managed IT Solutions, said: “The education sector is changing; the majority of schools in England today have academy status. With a growing number of schools joining Multi-Academy Trusts, there is increasing pressure on improving performance and achieving good OFSTED results.”
He continued, “We understand that as new academies join a Trust, they will have varying IT infrastructures, which can be costly and complex to manage. It also means students in each academy will have access to different levels of technology, providing an inconsistent learning experience Trust-wide. We work with Trusts to identify areas that IT can support and address some of these challenges by delivering consultancy and carrying out audits, helping to put in place an IT consolidation plan. By a Trust consolidating their academies IT infrastructure, it allows them to grow with ease.”
“Alongside our online safety services which includes helping to ensure compliance of the Prevent strategy, we also provide monitoring and reporting solutions to support Trust leaders in making more informed decisions about their IT investment. Bringing all of this together we can help improve student achievement Trust-wide.”
During Bett, Capita’s education specialists will also be on hand to discuss examples of how technology can be used in the classroom to improve learning outcomes.
James Grant, continued, “The annual Bett Show offers a fantastic opportunity for Capita to engage with Multi-Academy Trusts and school leaders. With over 30 years’ experience working with education establishments, we have a unique insight into the use of technology in learning and we look forward to sharing examples with education leaders to adopt in their learning environments on stand B190 during Bett. At Capita we recognise IT is more than devices and infrastructure, it is an enabler and key component in the improvement of educational outcomes and performance.”
